Welcome to our new Website. Hope you are enjoying the features. Indian Medical Council of Greater St. Louis has been in existence for several decades. We are a strong group of physicians representing various specialties and various states in India. The membership had been stagnant in the past few years, but with diligent and selfless devotion of our past presidents and current and past board members, we were able to recruit several new members in the past two years.

Technology has changed rapidly over the past few years and we are just beginning to catch up. As a personal mission, I wanted to move our organization into digital age. I have been working for the past few months with an IT team to develop this website that is long overdue. The new website has many features that are interactive. Future meetings can be scheduled with a few clicks. It allows membership enrollments with ease. This is also a tremendous source of income for IMC via web advertising. In the future, we need not depend on the drug company sponsorships for our meetings. This allows our non medical spouses to join us as well. Future IMC meetings need to be developed not only as educational seminars, but also an avenue for interpersonal and social interaction. It can be viewed as a social networking opportunity. We partnered with Pay Pal for the on line payment system. Any events that require payment of a small fee can be easily accomplished with this system.

As you may have noticed, I also designed a new logo for our organization and the new website.

Please feel free to navigate the website and encourage your colleagues who are non members to join and participate in the future meetings. It is your continued participation and enthusiasm that drives the board members and the IMC administration to continue their efforts.

I am excited that it is just the beginning for IMC’s digital era and with your support, we will have many more new features added in the coming months.
